ADVANCED ELECTRICAL TESTING AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Advanced Electrical Testing, and its core business is for the purpose of protecting commercial and industrial
facilities from electrical system failures, electrical fires, and resultant business interruptions and property
damage through the implementation of unique and comprehensive electrical preventive and predictive maintenance functions, and we guarantee the results. If we certify that an electrical component is in proper working order and it breaks, then we will replace it for free! Advanced Electrical Testing is part of a premier network of contractors, selectively chosen to partner with TEGG Services .This partnership and specialized training allow us to provide predictable, preventive electrical inspection and maintenance of panels and systems through advanced testing protocols; such as, ultrasonic and infrared. We provide our customers with professional analysis and historical documentation regarding the health and integrity of their primary electrical system. By providing these critical services, we help our customers prevent their business from taking financial and safety risks due to electrical or mechanical malfunctioning. Advanced Electrical Testing provides professional support services in the following areas:
-
Infrared Thermographic Imaging (FLIR P640)
Going undetected, the temperature of this conductor could have lead to a major disruption in the electrical network. Through the use of an infrared imaging system, we can reveal any electrical anomaly before it causes an immediate fire hazard, arc flash, or even a costly business interruption. An important feature to this service is that there is no need to be de-energized or shutdown components that may be critical to your operation. All services are performed energized.

-
Ultrasonic Testing (UE 10,000)
Detecting electrical problems that are hidden or problems that may not cause heat; such as arcing, tracking, or corona, can be detected before the electrical failure occurs. The most effective method of inspection is to combine ultrasonic testing with infrared thermographic imaging.

-
Power Quality Check
When an electrical anomaly is detected through infrared thermography and/or the ultrasonic probe, our technicians will analyze the disturbance through a simple but effective power quality check with a Fluke 43B multi-meter. This will pinpoint whether the issue is being caused locally, upstream or down stream. This measure allows us to find the root of the problem and prevent the disturbance from reccurring.
-
Visual Inspection and Minor Maintenance
One of the most important objectives in electrical preventative maintenance is to restore all electrical equipment to its original manufacturer’s specifications. As an added value service to our customers, our technicians will provide a visual inspection to identify any code violations or safety and performance risks. Often these issues are considered minor maintenance and can be fixed, “on the spot” at no additional charge to our customers, saving the customer time and money.

-
NFPA 70E Compliant
Arc flash hazards are a serious concern for anyone who performs energized electrical work. Since August 13, 2007 OSHA has recognized the NFPA 70E arc flash compliancy rule as an industry standard for safe work practice on energized electrical components. This is why wearing arc flash P.P.E. (personal protective equipment) is essential to insure the reduction of liability and life threatening injuries in the event of an electrical arc flash. Our certified technicians/electricians are appropriately trained, qualified, and equipped to follow the guidelines set forth by OSHA and the NFPA 70E.

-
Asset Management Software Documentation
Once an electrical preventative maintenance program has been conducted, our customers will receive detailed documentation in the form of easy to use software. The software will provide an asset management system used to inventory and catalog their entire electrical distribution system. All electrical issues that require repairs will be prioritized and documented in detail so you, the customer, can decide when and how these repairs should be made.
